As is currently the case, Delta One passengers can expect a selection of two red wines, two white wines, rosé, champagne, and port on their flight.
Domestic first class wines
Domestic first class travelers will be offered Pebble Lane’s Cabernet Sauvignon and its Chardonnay. Both of these are inexpensive, ranging from $7 to $15 a bottle.
Economy wines
For travelers in Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort Plus, and Main Cabin, Delta will be adding Casa Saulita Chenin Chardonnay on international routes. On domestic routes, they’ll continue to offer existing selection such as Imagery Estate and Une Femme.
How wines were selected
All in, 17 new wines will be on offer. That list was narrowed down from over 1,300 wines submitted by wine company reps around the world. The following infographic released by Delta shows the selection process and criteria.
Conclusion
It’s nice to see Delta mixing up its wine offerings and including more premium options. In light of Delta nuking its loyalty program, this seems like one of many efforts to move upmarket and position itself as a more premium carrier.

Well, they’re finally canning the canned wines and going back to normal wine offerings. They will tout is as premium service. Had the Jordan recently, it was perfectly drinkable
Big improvement but actually just following United’s lead here. They upgraded the Polaris wines to similar levels earlier this year.
